Democracy in the United States is under threat but we will never yield to fascism. We stand together and fight back in defense of our rights, our communities, and our values.
Even though we live on a tiny island it can be hard to find people who feel the same way. If you're feeling lonely we're here for you!

Join One Million Rising
One Million Rising is a national effort to train one million people in the strategic logic and practice of non-cooperation, as well as the basics of community organizing and campaign design.
Weekly To-Dos
Find an event this Saturday, August 16 to protest Trump’s effort to rig electoral maps and steal the 2026 election. Trump’s map takeover is starting in Texas, but it won't stop there. We're fighting back nationwide with a day of action this weekend. No event near you? Register your own protest here.
Blue State Indivisibles: Call on state Democrats to fight fire with fire by readying new congressional maps. If red state Republicans redraw their maps to rig the race for Congress, blue state Dems must even the playing field by responding in kind. Use our tools to demand that Democratic governors and legislators act now.
Sign up for the final One Million Rising session on August 13 to plug into a new phase of national campaign work. You'll learn to plan and execute a non-cooperation campaign, and how to coach others to do the same. We'll also share specific actions you can take to put pressure on institutions enabling Trump.
Join Thursday’s What's the Plan? call to ask Leah and Ezra your questions on redistricting, One Million Rising, and more. Every Thursday at 3pm ET, our co-founders jump online to break down key campaigns and answer your questions directly! Be part of an interactive chat about what’s next in our fight for democracy.
Call your members of Congress!
We've made this easier with handy tap-to-call buttons. If you've never done it before, scroll down a bit and read our tips for making effective calls.
Right now our representatives want to talk to anyone who has been fired by President Musk. Be sure to leave clear callback information if this is you!
Kaua'i has three members of Congress, two in the Senate and one in the House of Representatives. Here they are:
Senator Brian Schatz
(808) 523-2061 (202) 224-3934Senator Mazie Hirono
(808) 522-8970 (202) 224-6361Representative Jill Tokuda
(808) 746-6220 (202) 225-4906Making Effective Calls
Keep it simple, brief, and to the point. If it helps, write it down before calling. Be sure to mention that you are a constituent, and say your city and ZIP code. This is super important if you wind up talking to voice mail!
The assistant you reach may not be familiar with the issue you're calling about, so have something basic to say if it sounds like they need to be brought up to speed.
Be courteous, kind, and polite. Share why you care; if you have a personal story to tell, be sure to share it.
